Holiday Cumulative Summary

After you have created and saved one or more schedules, either by manual entry of schedules or by automating the schedule, you can request that ByteBloc calculate a 'cumulative summary' of those schedules. When you originally created those schedules you had the opportunity to indicate which days and shifts in the schedule you wanted considered as holidays.

As ByteBloc retrieves the summary values from each schedule in the range of schedules that you selected to summarize, it also creates a schedule consisting of the holidays within the 'cumulative summary' period. This 'cumulative summary' of the holidays is now displayed in 2 different views. Click on 'Toggle View' to change views. You also, have the ability to download to an Excel or HTML file by selecting 'Exports the table to a spreadsheet'.

Provider names are displayed in the left column or top row depending on the view. Shifts on holidays that you did not designate as holiday shifts are left blank. If the holiday includes any unscheduled holiday shifts or holiday shifts worked by providers who are no longer active, the entries of unscheduled and inactive are used.

The first 'holiday' in the 'cumulative summary' range is then displayed as the entry immediately in the left column. Subsequent holidays are displayed sequentially, moving from left to right and top to bottom across the screen.
