EPSKED Fact Sheet

  • Here's what EPSKED can do for you:

EPSKED can schedule up to 255 active providers at a time, each with separate requests for total hours, specific numbers of shifts in up to three categories defined for your own schedule, and other request options shown on the sample display shown below. Templates are used to facilitate data entry. Don't be overwhelmed by the number of options! EPSKED can produce schedules even if all you do is simply enter the names of your providers. The remaining options are either automatically set to standard values or do not need to be used, but are available if required by your schedule.

  • EPSKED can create schedules with periods of one month or multi-week schedules from one to thirteen weeks in length.

  • EPSKED can perform simultaneous, coordinated scheduling of more than one site, even if individual providers work at one or more of the sites. Site schedules can be printed separately, or as a location master schedule (showing all sites included as part of one location).

  • EPSKED can create an essentially unlimited number of independent schedules (such as resident and attending schedules, physician and physician assistant schedules, or separate hospital locations), each schedule allowing the full sixty-four daily shifts and 255 providers. When used with WebSked, coordinated scheduling of an unlimited number of shifts and providers who work at multiple location can be achieved.

  • EPSKED allows you to print large schedules over several pages, each page containing the number of weeks selected by you.

  • EPSKED allows you to divide each independent scheduling location into sites; each site can be printed separately.

  • EPSKED can schedule zero to sixty-four shifts each day for each location from a maximum of sixty-four different shifts you define specifically for your schedule. (Please note that if a shift is scheduled with double/triple/quadruple coverage, this shift is counted as two/three/four separate shifts.

  • EPSKED automatically generates summary tables for summary categories you define specifically for your schedule. Detailed summaries of scheduled shifts and hours, holidays, overtime hours, and cumulative totals for periods of one day up to several years. You can specify which shifts should be counted as weekend shifts, allowing accurate weekend summaries.

  • EPSKED can print and email master schedules, site master schedules, personalized master schedules, individual provider schedules, cumulative holiday schedules, and a fill-in form that your providers can use to request days or shifts off. When used with WebSked, provider requests are directly imported, obviating the need for manual entry.

  • EPSKED's payroll module allows accurate payroll calculations, handling different pay rates rates for each provider, including you to define shift, weekend, and holiday shift pay differentials, changes in pay rates within shifts depending on time of day/night, and more. Payroll calculations can exported directly to Microsoft Excel.

  • Orders for EPSKED are placed from EPSKED using an Internet website. To avoid confusion about pricing, ordering requires a three step process:
    1. Contact ByteBloc Software for a price quote. The quote will be based upon information that you provide: the maximum number of shifts used on any day of your schedule, whether you are an existing EPSKED subscriber, and whether you will be using WebSked with your copy of EPSKED.
    2. Submit payment based upon the price quote that you receive.
    3. Request an Activation Code to remove trial date limitations (or, for existing customers, to extend subscriptions expirations) for your copy of EPSKED. ByteBloc Software will provide a paid invoice for your purchase.

Steps 1 and 3 are accomplished using the Order Form displayed in the Register...Order dropdown menu in the EPSKED Scheduler.
